Cycling and trout fishing in Valdresdalen
Time: about 01 July - 01 October (depending on seasonal snow and ice conditions).
We pack our fishing bags and pump air into the tires, and we spend the day along the gravel road into Valdresdalen without a single car. We take most of the uphills at the beginning of the trip, but after we have finished the first bumps, the terrain flattens out. How far we cycle is adapted to our own wishes and physical shape.
At one of the lakes we take a rest and find the fishing rods where we try to lure a mountain trout or two. If we get fish, it is recommended to prepare the fish for lunch. There is little that beats freshly baked mountain trout! If you want and we have time, we can also add a summit trip along the way.
Regardless, we serve homemade lunch with local ingredients depending on what is available. This can be, for example, reindeer stew, but is of course adapted to any allergies.
The trip will be about 20-40 km. A mountain bike is required for this trip.

Remember extra clothes. The weather can change quickly.
