Tyinkrysset and Filefjell are easily accessible even if you want to travel collectively. Both the East-West Express and Valdresekspressen offer daily departures.

Surrounding area:

The tyin krysset is within a short distance to the area. At Tyinkrysset you will find the Jokeren, a grocery store with a large selection and Intersport that offers proper mountain equipment. The fuel tank station can also be found here. If you need to charge an electric car, there is a charging station at Tyinkrysset fjellstue, which also offers a snack if you are hungry.

A little further up the hillside you will find Filefjell alpine centre with various slopes throughout the winter season. Groomed cross-country trails can be found throughout the area, check skiporet.no for updated messages. During the season, trails are also run inland in the mountains.

In summer there are marked hiking trails throughout the area. DNT's MASSIVE route passes Filefjell, among other places. In addition, Kongevegen passes over Filefjell and Mjølkevegen also right outside the door.

Otherwise, Eidsbugarden, Fondsbu and Tyinholmen are both just a few stone's throw away.

There are good fishing opportunities throughout the area. Information about the various fishing licenses can be found at both Jokeren and Intersport, which also sell this.
